Jazz dance combines the precision of ballet, with the excitement of pop culture, the grounding of African dance and the syncopation of jazz music. Dancers who train in jazz technique are able to pick up choreography in all forms of dance quickly, change choreographic styles with ease and increase their confidence and self esteem.
